We proudly announce three phenomenal guitar virtuosos: Jan Akkerman, Stochelo Rosenberg & Paulus Schäfer come together on the stage of Café de Stam in Nuenen on May 10, 2023, for two concerts! Say whut? Yes, the gentlemen will give 2 concerts that day. One at 4:30 pm and one at 8:30 pm. It promises to be a spectacle full of razor sharp and groovy guitar playing: you want to be there!

Jan Akkerman

Jan Akkerman was voted the world's best guitarist in 1973 by the readers of the English music magazine ‘Melody Maker’. He was awarded the Golden Harp in 2005 and the 4th Eddy Christiani Award in 2009. Do we need to say more?

Stochelo Rosenberg

In 1992, Stochelo Rosenberg received a Golden Guitar from ‘Guitarist’ magazine as a reward for popularizing the acoustic guitar. Stochelo is considered one of the best guitarists in his genre. He composed several songs for -and played with- The Rosenberg Trio, including the soundtrack of the French motion picture Django (2017).

Paulus Schäfer

Paulus Schäfer is the youngest of this guitar trio and received an award from the international guitar festival 'The World of Guitar' for his 'special contribution to contemporary development of Gypsy Jazz' on May 30, 2013. At the former Tilburg 'International Gypsy Festival' he was the annual guitarist. Paulus is also the initiator of this special guitar event.
