BRIDGE

Eindhoven has gained a festival, and what a festival it is! Starting May 10, 2023, during BRIDGE the entire Brainport region will be dedicated to the world's most played instrument: the guitar! The new, multi-day, all-round guitar festival is unique in its kind: from classical to blues, from jazz to rock, from flamenco to pop, all genres are covered. Live music therefore plays a major role within BRIDGE; many guitarists will travel to the festival within various formats. In addition, there will be plenty of workshops, master classes, an extensive Guitar Convention (fair), living room concerts, lunch-time concerts, a talk show and educational components presented. All under the banner of a number of pillars, namely: innovation, education, participation, inclusion and, of course, the great common love of the guitar. This fulfills a need within the entire Brainport region: connection, with each other, for each other. In other words: from 10 to 14 May 2023 we will build a bridge together, BRIDGE is born!

Free City Festival

What's also great is that, in addition to some very special concerts for which separate tickets must be purchased, a free city festival will be organized from Friday, May 12 to Sunday, May 14 in the center of Eindhoven. The free city festival will take place on May 12 and 13 in Café Wilhelmina, Café 't Rozenknopje, Café The Jack, Effenaar, LAB-1, Paviljoen Ongehoorde Muziek and Stroomhuis. On May 13 and 14, artists will also perform on two outdoor stages, Wilhelminaplein and 18 Septemberplein.

Exclusive, paid concerts

Part of BRIDGE Festival are a number of exclusive, paid concerts spread across various venues. For example Steve Vai & Metropole Orkest (sold out) and Jett Rebel (Muziekgebouw Eindhoven), Club Void: Sum of R & Wyatt E and Club Void: Nebula & Hackberry (Effenaar), Corrosion of Confirmity (Dynamo), Robin Scherpen (Paterskerk, DomusDela) and Thibaut Garcia (De Kapel, DomusDela).
