The ground still trembles a little bit in Eindhoven after Corrosion of Conformity's 1992 Dynamo Open Air show. More than thirty years later, these living legends once again return to Eindhoven for a show at Dynamo. On May 12, they are part of BRIDGE festival. With, of course, guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan completely back in the ranks. Except for a few surprise appearances, he hasn't toured with his old band. But now he's back on stage at full strength with his bandmates. In the meantime, Keenan conquered many metal hearts with his other band Down, formed with Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo. If you ask us, the dirty, thrashy, sludgy stonermetal-sound the guitarist created with Corrosion of Conformity belongs to the best of his oeuvre. A sound that later Mastodon, for example, gloriously built upon. Amidst the fattest riffs imaginable, you'll hear cutting solos as only Pepper can squeeze out of his guitar.
