BRIDGE 2024 will be big, first names have been announced!

BRIDGE Guitar Festival returns to the Brainport region of Eindhoven. From Wednesday, May 29 to Sunday, June 2, 2024, the festival is all about guitars, guitar music and musicians who connect people from all over the world through this special, beloved string instrument. The first major show that we can confirm will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Then Floor Jansen will give a concert in the impressive Klokgebouw in Eindhoven. Below we also give away the first names of the free city festival BRIDGE AROUND TOWN. More artists for BRIDGE will be announced very shortly. Ticket sales for the Floor Jansen concert start this Friday, December 8 at 10:00 am. All information about the festival and ticket sales can be found on the program page.

FLOOR JANSEN

The first big name we can confirm for BRIDGE is Floor Jansen. Building bridges with one hell of a voice. That is what she can do like no other. She builds those musical infrastructural feats between symphonic music, rock, pop and metal. That powerful voice sounds especially irresistible in combination with driving guitars. She showed this with After Forever, Revamp, Nightwish and now also as a solo artist. During BRIDGE 2024, Floor will give a concert where you can enjoy that special combination.

BRIDGE AROUND TOWN

If you were in Eindhoven in mid-May this year, you probably noticed: BRIDGE spread its wings across the entire city with a free city festival. During the second edition of the festival you can also admire bands and artists for free in many places in the center of Eindhoven. This part of the festival now also has a name: BRIDGE AROUND TOWN. Dozens of bands are programmed for the 2024 edition at Café Wilhelmina, De Rozenknop, The Jack, the Stroomhuis, Altstadt, Effenaar Kleine Zaal, Muziekgebouw M, and also outside on Wilhelminaplein. We can already reveal the first six of these: Bombino, JB Meijers, Leif de Leeuw band, Ploctones, Aynsley Lister and Erja Lyytinen.

More BRIDGE

We regularly supplement the website with new program components for the festival, but we can now reveal that the impressive Guitar Convention will once again take place in the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven on Saturday afternoon, June 1. As an enthusiast, you can go here for the latest technical gadgets about the guitar. You can also attend interesting master classes and workshops. Tickets for the Guitar Convention will be on sale soon. In addition, we are working hard with various music schools, venues and entrepreneurs on a number of other projects for BRIDGE and with a number of musical troubadours we are going back into the Eindhoven residential areas with special small-scale concerts. We will also be present in Helmond, among others, and finally we will not forget our Guitar Heroes and the youth.
