THE PARADOX TWIN
Prog rock has always been a genre where guitarists can flourish. From Steve Hackett in Genesis to Alex Lifeson in Rush, Mikael Åkerfeldt in Opeth, and Steven Wilson in Porcupine Tree. In that list of bands fits The Paradox Twin, the formation around multi-instrumentalist Danny Sorrell. He too excels in handling unconventional rhythms, layered arrangements, and songs that feel like a great adventure. With their debut album The Importance Of Mr Bedlam, the quintet made a huge impression. And with the follow-up Silence from Signals, they raised the bar even higher. The prog press was unanimous in their praise for these Britons whose music also brings to mind The Pineapple Thief and The Flower Kings.
None other than guitarist John Mitchell (whom you may remember from It Bites and Arena) joins The Paradox Twin on this tour, during which the band visits BRIDGE Guitar Festival. And that means you will undoubtedly be treated to a crystal-clear guitar sound, exciting riffs, and masterful solos.
