AYNSLEY LISTER
Aynsley Lister was steeped in music from an early age by his father. The blues-rock guitarist recalls that there was always exciting music played at home: Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Vanilla Fudge, Jethro Tull – "If it had a guitar solo, then it was good," Lister reminisces. These early influences flow through the Brit's veins, as you can hear in his playing. His solos are always surprising, intense, and each note is played with intention. Similar to Stevie Ray Vaughan, another influence that resonates with Lister. Moreover, Aynsley has an incredibly warm, beautiful sound that you can quickly distinguish.
Lister has penned thirteen solo albums and released a few live albums as well. Unsurprisingly: a live setting is the most natural habitat for a great blues-rock guitarist like Lister.
