Leading up to BRIDGE Guitar Festival, we step -together with Niels Guns (journalist; guitar freak; storyteller)- into the world of guitars, guitarists, guitar music and guitar gear. Niels touches the sensitive chord with tantalizing background stories and hands-on interviews.

Who is Guns?

The terms journalist, guitar freak and storyteller don't do his name enough justice: Niels was a correspondent for the Telegraaf, RTL News and the Radio-1 program The Morning. He taught at the Fontys College of Journalism in Tilburg. He writes for leading clients such as National Geographic. And for the paper ‘Eindhovens Dagblad’ he made one year of columns about the inhabitants of his own -Eindhoven- street. Niels is a legend and fan of BRIDGE Festival. We are therefore super excited that he will make the column GUNS ABOUT GUITARS for us also this year!
